This leads to a bit of confusion, as the product name sometimes overshadows the company – for example, buying a canon ink cartridge and a bubblejet ink cartridge is the same thing. In fact, Canon went as far as to call their line "bubblejet" in reference to how the ink makes its way onto the paper.
And indeed, Canon has become one of the leaders in this industry, with printers and canon inkjet cartridges dominating store shelves. Be sure to do this before you connect the printer to your computer, or Vista will try and fail to install it as a MultiPass. If you later want to scan or fax, I simply reboot the printer (if there is a better way, hopefully someone leave a comment about it). The LED display should now say “Printer Mode”.
